The perfect location for our babymoon in west cork. The house is absolutely stunning, with every detail well thought through. The host Mattie is super helpful and very quick to respond. The breakfast was delicious and super filling. The gardens are breathtakingly beautiful, both mornings there were rabbits playing on the grass. There is a pond around the back of the property that you can swim in.

The only negative is that it is a little remote and the only dinner options are in Castletownbere or Glengarriff, which isn’t the end of world but worth knowing.

The house was beautiful.

Everything was so measured, particularly the breakfast (no buffet, no fruit, no charcuterie,3 slices of brown bread for 2 people, one tiny jar of jam..... The host was very/too quick to clear plates etc- could have been a little more relaxed. Breakfast all too minimalist.

Rural location but close to a nice town, lovely garden setting, great view, beautifully decorated house, lounge and dining areas very comfortable, attentive hosts, bar facilities, big bedroom with extremely comfortable bed and linen, good shower with lovely soap. Breakfast was a delight. Lovely flower arrangements around the house. Bluetooth speaker with soothing music playing on arrival plus morning playlist was a nice touch.

No coffee, milk or biscuits in the bedroom - a coffee machine would be good. Provision of a shower cap and body lotion in the bathroom, and phone charging facilities would be great.

One of the books in the living room of this beautiful b&b had the title 'The art of creating home'. That's exactly what Matti and Vanessa do. Every detail is well thought through: the candles and fire place upon arrival, handmade soap in the bedroom, free quality coffee and tea, classical music... The beautiful building, garden, sauna, wonderfull rooms and perfect beds, the delicious breakfast and evening plate (which is definitely enough as dinner), the hospitality of Matti and Vanessa: it all makes you feel completely welcome and relaxed. Thank you for everything!
