Wonderful place both building and nature, friendly and kind hosts, very elegant design, very clean, extremely comfortable beds, all amenities available and very yummy choices of breakfast.

Everything made us happy.

We were met on arrival by Matti who was so friendly and made us feel so welcome, especially after a long day travelling. The location had fabulous views and the house was beautiful and spacious with plenty of common areas so you could mingle with the other guests if you wanted to or find a quiet space for yourselves. Food was exceptional and we had dinner and breakfast here so thanks to Vanessa for looking after us! Matti made some suggestions for our trip and we ended up following his ideas instead of our planned trip so thank you Matti, you really know your stuff!

Nothing - everything was fantastic!

Staying at Mossie's has spoiled us; nothing else has even come close in comparison. It doesn't hurt that this jewel is situated in one of the more wildly beautiful corners of the world but photos do not do this B&B justice. In addition to the gorgeously appointed interiors, the grounds are magnificent: amazing attention to detail everywhere you look, both inside and out. As well, the service was exceptional: every possible need anticipated, Matti would quietly appear with a smile, when needed, and disappear just as quickly. The breakfasts were five-star: incredibly delicious, and impeccably served, in a glassed-in conservatory. We stayed in the lovely French Room, with a view of the ocean and lush surroundings, and with bed linens that make me tear up at the memory: the highest quality I've ever experienced. Matti and Vanessa have worked hard to create this magical Eden on the Beara Peninsula, and we're fortunate to be the beneficiaries of their vision, dedication, and love. We will absolutely come back!

Matti and Vanessa are very accommodating. They always make sure that guests are comfortable. The location is perfect because it is on a secluded area plus a stunning view. And the breakfast, it's the best.

Just perfect! Mattie and Vanessa run a lovely B&B in rural Ireland. As a young couple from the big city on a short trip through southwest Ireland, it was a wonderful—and truly beautiful—escape from the everyday hustle. Extra points for the delicious breakfast! We spent a couple of nights at Mossie’s, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Matti was very attentive, the house was warm, comfortable and the breakfast was great.

The lanes up to the house could prove a problem if there was more traffic, but still worth the effort to get there.
