"Hidden Gem in Beautiful Beara"

Mossie’s truly is a hidden gem and I can’t believe we were fortunate enough to find it. The location is gorgeous, set in the quiet, picturesque lanes of east Beara, a quick drive from Glengariff, Castletownbere, the Healy Pass and other beautiful West Cork sights. The guest house itself is possibly one of the loveliest we’ve visited, certainly in Ireland and we adored our comfortable en suite bedroom (the French Room) overlooking the landscaped gardens. The service was exceptional too; Matti and Vanessa went out of their way to make us feel welcome into their home. We loved being able to sit by the fire in the lounge after s long day, relaxing with a decaf coffee from the Nespresso machine. If we are ever visiting Beara again we will not hesitate to rebook.

"Exceptional"

This accommodation was exceptional, we had a wonderful room with a balcony, the breakfast was 5 * hotel level. This is a lovely quiet location on the beautiful Beara Peninsula. We will definitely return

"A small place of heaven"

Fantastic garden, friendly host, breakfast and dinner are excellent with an amazing view. Beautiful surroundings. Ideal starting point for bikers (hills steep, we were glad to have mountainbikes)

"Accommodation was brilliant as were the staff! Loved it!"

Food was all freshly prepared. Surrounding gardens were lovely. Host Matti was very friendly , attentive to our needs, and full of information re local area.

To reach Mossie’s was sometimes a struggle especially in the dark. There were signs but a couple of times we missed them.

"Wonderful stay in a beautiful area"

Everything was really wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, the house was beautifully decorated and clean, our room had an amazing view. The hosts, Vanessa and Matti, were very nice too. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Wonderful garden, splendid views, cozy cottage with few bedrooms, spotless, gorgeous details, very quiet. Hosts very nice and friendly, helpful in suggesting places to visit. Breakfast was an experience itself with personal service, excellent products quality. Loved every minute of it there.
