Huge 5 bed, 5 bath in Historic Downtown Savannah

Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our large group.

A couple of minor things needed repair but didn't really affect our fun

It is nice to have 5 bedrooms

The house needs a makeover. The pictures here are not what you are thinking. It's actually discerning in the room with bunk beds because the pictures show dbl on bottom. It's two single beds. NOT good for a couple. The kitchen is upstairs and very tight. For a house filling 5 bedrooms there is NO place to sit for everyone. What they also don't show is the fact that to get to the nice backyard table you have to go through someone's bedroom!!!! I've never seen something so odd. It was useless. The whole place is very worn, Bedding felt very cheap, Not at all what we expected. Another oddity was upon arrival we were greeted by a FUNERAL Flower arrangement on porch!!!!!!!!!!! So disturbing. But the most upsetting and DANGEROUS thing is the downstairs half bath that the front bedroom has to use. There is a totally dangerous step in the absolute weirdest place. They have a tiny strip of yellow Hazzard tape on the step but it is NOT visible in the dark at all!!!!!! You come out of the bathroom, it's pitch black and then BAM!!! You fall off step and twist ankle. The wood is rotted and should all be replaced. It's the most crazy thing. It just makes no sense. But glow in dark tape or something so a person doesn't get severely hurt. Overall it's much farther than you could imagine. We spent a fortune in ubers while there and parking....Not impressed in least bit. Would not recommend.

Perfect property for our group that was together for our daughter’s wedding. Comfortable, everyone had privacy, nice bit of outdoor space to congregate.

Wasn’t a problem for us, but if you have anyone in your group who has trouble with stairs, the kitchen is on the second floor.

We enjoyed the close proximity to downtown Savannah and the trolley line. The place was very clean and inviting. There was more than enough room for everyone in our party. Also, when we had an issue with the back door lock, the owners came immediately and helped to fix it! Most of the bathrooms are huge with nice showers, and the included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was appreciated.

The whole second level is a bit tilted with a noticeable slant in the dining room table. Additionally, the top floor doesn’t get air conditioning as adequately as the downstairs. When we first arrived, the whole upstairs was hot and hadn’t cooled down much when returning later that evening. The next day, it had cooled down some more and we were able to be comfortable.

Location was phenomenal, accessibility was great, especially enjoyed the light duties required before leaving, as most places charge a ridiculous cleaning fee, then require guests to do laundry, dishes etc before checkout. We simply had to strip the beds and leave linens by washer, and take trash out, which is very feasible. The house itself was phenomenal.

The only complaint of any of our party, was that the bedrooms did not have tv's. As a family of all ages, tv's in the rooms would have been a plus, but that would not deter us from booking again. Location and comfort was far more valuable than lack of television, especially in a town like savannah that leaves very little time to spend sitting in a house watching tv as opposed to crossing the street and seeing forsythe park, or walking a few blocks to see the various town squares.
