"A quiet haven."

The quiet, rural setting was a nice contrast to the tourist hub of Lake Taupo. The home is set in a pretty garden. Our suite was extremely comfortable and clean. Lorene was an excellent host willing to give expert advice on surrounding sights and experiences. The continental breakfast was top quality and Lorene was willing to serve it very early to accommodate our travel needs.

Beautiful location, garden was wonderful for relaxing. Host was attentive and had a few lovely pets that we enjoyed being around.

A bit far from town so can only access by car.

Lovely, quiet, peaceful location away from the "busy ness" of Taopo town but within very easy reach of it and any local attractions. Lorene made us very welcome in her home.

The hosts were communicative, kind, and left me breakfast items appropriate to my special dietary needs. They also had firewood prepped and ready to go. It was a beautiful home in the countryside and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
