L'ARENA ROOM

Claudio is one of the greaties hosts I ever have - he met me on the bus stop with the car to take to the place (and i did not expect it, because it was in 10 mins of walking but it was reeally pleasant thing), took me for a ride to show where to buy things, where to eat etc. On a place everything was clean and the plenty of stuff for eating: fruits, yoghurts, wate, beer, local snacks, coffee, tea. And everyday Claudio was bringing more! I could not even eat all :) Breakfasts are in the small tabaccheria&pasticheria on the ground flour, you may choose what you want of local bakery and coffee. And you have an amazing view to the archeological park from the windows of pasticheria. I felt as i was a dear guest and everybody loved me with all their hearts. So touching. I wish I am back :) Thank you!!!

+ Excellent value for money + this is no ordinary booking.com room , more like a room in a boutique hotel, furnished with very much attention to the detail + extremely comfortable, firm bed + 5min walk to the archeological site + breakfast = coffee and croissant next door in cafe. But in the room loads of snacks and fruit were provided + coffee machine (with decent coffee), water, even one beer. + very nice, attentive and helpful host

+ yes, Ortygia is a little bit far to walk to. But you can't have it all.

Apartment is perfectly clean, the owner change your towels and swipe the floor every day, everything smells super fresh and nice there. In the room is everything you need and also as a bonus the owner gives you fresh fruit, water, juices and some snacks for free. You will feel there as in the 4’stars hotel. Minute away there’s a big parking place. Location is just 20minutes of walk from the Ortigia island. Owner gives you tips for nice beaches, typical restaurants and more. For those money you will receive much more than you are used to.

Only small minus for me was breakfast. From central europe we really are not used to eat croissants for breakfast every day, so this is little annoying and too sweet for me. But this can be a plus for someone :)

Very clean room and in suite bathroom. The owner does make you feel home. Fresh fruit, to go snacks, juice, water… daily filled up in a small fridge inside the room. Very good and silent a/c. If you want to go for a concert at the Arena… I highly recommend to book with Claudio. Just 10 min walk from main entrance. Good value for money.I had a great stay. Grazie :-)

The apartment is located in a nice area close to the theater. There is a parking and a beautiful view. The host is very welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and we'll equipped.

Nothing

The room is very close to the archaeological park, but a bit of a walk to Ortigia. Claudio was extremely kind and met us after we parked our car in the free parking available. It is on the 2nd floor and there is a lift available - but you will have to carry bags up or down 1/2 a flight of stairs but it isn't too bad. The room was large and there was cold water, juice, fruit, and some snacks for us. Breakfast is a card to get you a cornetto and a coffee at the cafe just below which suited us fine - it is available from 5am-11am which is very nice.

The property was good nice sized room and bathroom. The host was great as he let us stay later than the exit time before we caught our train. The room was very clean. Breakfast was taken at a cafe very near the property which was fine.

The room could have used a second arm chair as one of us had to sit on the bed. Also, a sign outside the building would have helped.

The room has everything you need for a short stay - small fridge, kettle, coffee machine. It is very cosy and clean. Archeological park is just on the other side of the street. A bit hard to find the entrance to the building for the first time, but the owner was waiting for me when I arrived and showed me everything. The contact with the owner was very easy.

The room has a nice terrace and the host was very attentive. Is located just in front of the Archeological park, 5 minutes walking from the entrance.
