Meadowdore Stay B&B

Bed was very comfortable and Frances made a delicious breakfast and coffee for us. The shower was strong and hot. Location is beautiful.

Parking is limited, have to park on the street at times.

We received a friendly welcome after arriving by foot on the Cumbria Way. The room and facilities were excellent and we chilled out in the lounge. Breakfast was excellent.

It was excellent in all respects. It is immaculate inside and out. The levels of cleanliness,overall environment and atmosphere are first class.

There is nothing to dislike about this property. Everything is to a very high standard.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation right in the centre of Coniston. Great breakfast. Easy to come and go as we liked throughout the day.

We loved the little touches that made the room feel homely. The host is lovely and the location is perfect for exploring Coniston. The Ruskin/Family suite had a mini kitchen and was plenty big enough. Free onsite parking is a bonus too, even if you have to play ‘car jenga’ if another guest wants to leave and you’re blocking them in - the host is great at co-ordinating this without you feeling pressured though.

Being really picky…it would have been great if a little bit of milk had been put in the fridge for our arrival. We got some when we met the host though, so it was fine.

Staff - Sharon and Ian went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
