"Exquisite B&B with a wonderful host."

Rooms are tastefully decorated with great attention to detail and have all the amenities needed including fluffy bathrobes. A lovely touch was the tasty shortbread. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and accompanied by the perfect cappuccino. Our host Frances, with her loyal dog, Alfie, made us feel right at home. What more could you ask for.

"Great spot in the centre of Coniston"

Good location in the centre of Coniston. There are plenty of walks to do straight from the B&B & it was good to be able to leave the car. Quiet location for a good night's sleep. Tasty cooked breakfast to set us up for the day.

Comfy bed Clean Breakfast good Great view Quiet

Shower head was too heavy it kept leaning down and pointing away from us when showering so couldn't enjoy the shower as much. Felt a little unwelcome by staff at the start and end. Forgot to move our car from the B&B car park in the morning for a few hours by mistake for which the owner was quite abrupt and rude about it which made us feel guilty and deflated upon leaving after a very beautiful day.

Everything was wonderful. Clean, spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Many thoughtful extras such as homemade biscuits on arrival and quality bathroom toiletries. Beautifully cooked breakfasts, and friendly host.

Lovely clean and comfortable room. Personally I'd remove the chair and put hooks behind both doors. Great breakfast and good location.
