"Ideal place to stay in Coniston. Great value for money."

Central location with parking. We were made so welcome by Frances, who couldn’t do enough for us. Room was great & we had everything we needed. Large luxurious towels as well along with a small fridge which was a bonus. Very comfy bed & breakfast was faultless.

Great location lovely people and excellent breakfast

The shower didn’t have any power. Came through too softly. This didn’t impact on our stay though.

"Beautiful, comfy rooms, sumptuous breakfast!"

Frances made us feel very welcome. Our room, Swirl How, had two separate bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom which was ideal for our family group of 3 adults. Everywhere was spotless and there was a fridge also provided which came in very handy. The breakfasts were sumptuous and the lounge area was beautifully furnished and a good size. We would definitely book again.

"Cumbria Way stop over"

It had everything we needed on our overnight stay whilst walking the Cumbrian Way. The host was very helpful and provided us with all the relevant local information to make the most out of our stay. The cooked breakfast was hearty and locally sourced.
