Art&Flats Hostel

My stay at Arts and Flats was, unfortunately, one of the most unpleasant accommodation experiences I have ever had. From the very beginning, the pre-arrival communication was extremely frustrating. I was surprised to be denied access after 1 a.m., even though I had clearly stated that my flight would land late. Instead of understanding or support, I felt I was met with dismissiveness. The communication with the owner was, in my personal experience, incredibly rude, unprofessional, and at times even harassing. This set the tone long before I ever arrived. While the lady on the property later tried to make up for the situation, it did not undo the negative impression or the stress I had already gone through. Although the location itself was fairly good, the apartment did not impress me in terms of amenities nor cleanliness. Considering the overall experience, even the basic standards felt unmet. There was also a required deposit tied to strictly respecting house rules. Even during checkout—when the deposit was supposed to be returned provided the guest behaved well—I was again spoken to in an extremely disrespectful and unprofessional tone. It felt like yet another unnecessary layer of tension to an already disappointing stay. Simple hospitality—something I assumed to be standard—was denied to me. I was not allowed to leave my luggage before check-in, despite the fact that other guests appeared to be allowed to do so. Even though there was staff onsite from early in the morning and my room should have been empty (since I was checking in a full day later), I was still refused early check-in. None of the explanations I received made sense to me, and I felt that cooperation and understanding were completely lacking. The situation escalated to the point where I contacted Booking multiple times and even filed a claim regarding the unprofessional behavior I experienced.

La atención un desastre. Me comuniqué para avisar que llegaría más tarde de lo programado porque me cancelaron el vuelo. Avise por wp como me dijeron, media hora antes de mí llegada al Hostel. Eran la 1 de la mañana y nadie me abrió. Perdí una noche y tuve que irme a otro hotel aún ya habiendo pagado. Al otro día volví al Hostel cerca del mediodía y lo único que me dijeron fue que el check in de ese día recién era a las 15 hs. Nada de empatía.
