"Beware of late check in policy and stay somewhere which is more traveller friendly"

Sleeping in a bed rather than a bunk

I was charged a late check-in fee for arriving around 8pm which I think is utterly ridiculous! In all my 20 years of travelling I have never been charged a late check-in fee for arriving before 11pm. This effectively doubled the price of my room. I could have stayed in a hotel for this price. Although the property will say that they emailed me to advise (cover their backs) about the late check-in fee, I was on a ferry without internet access and was not aware of their policy. If I had known I would have cancelled my booking and found a more traveller friendly place to stay. I think their policy is very unfair

La ubicacion del alojamiento es literal 2 minutos caminando desde el ayuntamiento de Valencia, excelente. La habitacion estaba muy bien, y el personal que me atendió fue muy agradable. Las zonas comunes estan muy limpias, y organizadas, seguro repito.
