In the evening the path to the place was dark.

Excellent service. This is the only place in my one week trip to srilanka where I felt like home.They served english breakfast which was good. Not too far from the main road. Easily accessible. Worth the money

Great host and the property was in a perfect location. Room was clean and comfortable and the host provided a lovely breakfast.

Nice and clean room with everything what we needed. Mosquito net was in a good shape. Host was kind. We also asked for laundry service and the family took care of it perfectly.

Nice balcony tough. Nice and quiet garden, owner is very kind. Is good to see big water monitor dragons and fireflies on the stream.

Little bit overpriced. The room was so small that there were nearly no room for our backpacks.

Cute room with balcony very close to the beach. But far enough to be a quiet place. The owner is helpful and make sure everything is running well. Tasty Sri Lankan breakfast.

Comfortable guest house run by a welcoming Sri Lankan family. The house is surrounded by nature: big trees, river, monkeys, lizards, birds, turtles, even fireflies. Perfect place to just sit on the balcony and take in the surroundings. It's in an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from Mirissa's main road and beach. This means it is quiet, but still close to the action. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They cook amazing Sri Lankan food and also have a scooter for rent. Despite being in the forest, I never found mosquitoes in my room. The room also has great air-conditioning.

The wifi is very slow. Some days it didn't work. I ended up using a hotspot most of the time. The road to the hotel is unsealed and can get dark at night time. I never felt unsafe but some solo travellers might want to be aware of this. The silver lining is that you get to see fireflies on the walk home.

the owner was very nice, he offered a matress for one of us because there were no more rooms left.
