Casa Magnolia

Lovely, relaxing guest house with a wonderful breakfast. Great place to just chill, which was exactly what I was looking for. By the second day, it felt like home. Carola, the owner, was so helpful and friendly and the resident dogs were a bonus! The bed was very comfortable and the property was spotless. There is a huge, beautiful indoor mall right down the street with a bunch of options for entertainment and dinner.

Everything was perfect. Carola is a great host. She made me feel like home right away. Unfortunately, my husband got sick and spent some days in the hospital while we were in Ecuador. Carola was very accommodating and attentive to my needs. I would spend hours in the hospital and she would save fruit and juice from the morning breakfast for me. The location is in a very trendy and nice neighborhood, Cumbaya, with a lot of vibrant bars and restaurants just walking distance. We fell in love with Casa Magnolia and the staff, as well as with the dogs and the cats who add up to the charm. The room was fabulous we even got our own private balcony! Breakfast was delicious: coffee, fruit, juice, fresh bread, cheese, and cold meats. Location was highly convenient, and the staff made us feel like we were at home. We will definitely stay here again next time we go to Quito. Gracias Carola and Marisol!

Casa Magnolia is like home. The property is lovely and quiet. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast consists of fresh fruit, juice, coffee, cold cuts and eggs. I will stay here every time I come to Quito.

​We spent 5 wonderful nights at Casa Magnolia, and it was the highlight of our trip to Ecuador. From the moment we arrived, our host told us to "act like we are at home," and she truly meant it. The vibe is incredibly cozy, and we loved spending our evenings in the shared living room where we were always looked after with drinks and great conversation. ​The service here rivaled a full travel agency; our host helped us plan our entire itinerary and gave us insider tips that you won’t find in guidebooks. We also highly recommend using their private driver. He picked us up from the airport and took us on several excursions—he was more affordable than other options, incredibly professional, and waited for us at every stop. ​The breakfasts were outstanding—5-star hotel quality! Everything was fresh from the garden, including the eggs and a different fresh fruit juice every morning. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and felt like a private sanctuary. Plus, the location is perfect; it's in a very safe area where we felt totally comfortable walking to the nearby mall and local restaurants. If you are coming to Ecuador, stay here
