Good value for money, excellent location and very helpful staff

I was travelling with two companions, one of whom is disabled - the hostess (Gina) went out of her way to make sure that everything was ok and that we would be comfortable. We didn't need a place with a view, just a warm, comfortable bed and a plentiful supply of tea. I liked the: cleanliness, friendliness, the tea supply, the conversation about local history. I could go on.

Other than parking potentially being difficult, there was nothing to hate. In the late 1800s, when this area was built, you didn't have to worry about where you'd park your car. Park on a side street and enjoy the late-Victorian street views.

Friendly owner, clean and tidy room, great location close to town centre and won't break the bank. Thankyou for a great stay😊

The host was friendly, the room was spotless, the supplies were generous.
