Pady, the owner is a great host. I could use a bicycle free of charge to explore the surroundings of Hikkaduwa. The breakfast and the dinner was delightful, you can choose Western or Sri Lanka food. Although located in the center of Hikkaduwa near the railway station, it is quiet and the rooms are spacious. Pady also showed me his cinnemon plantation, where I could learn all about organic cinnemon production. Laundry service was also offered. Pady even brought me by his car to Galle, my next station. Highly recommended, next time again.

A grand property with lovely rooms and garden. A perfect location within 2 minutes walk of both the bus and train station. Very friendly owner who went above and beyond to assist with planning my trip.

Such a lovely man that hosts clean and comfortable rooms in his lovely villa. You have your own private entry and bathroom. Close to the main streets and beaches in Hikkaduwa.

Very clean hotel, very friendly owner

One of the best places I've stayed at in Sri Laka. Even better than the photos suggest. Wonderfully spacious room with comfy bed, fridge and air con. The host is a lovely person and interesting to talk to about Buddhism, local politics, the tsunami and his cinnamon farm over a tasty breakfast that can be prepared on request. Away from the main buzy drag and set in beautifully maintained gardens, but also super close to the beach and coral sanctuary. The perfect place to stay in Hikkaduwa. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Camellia Dwelling. The location was very good (close to the beach and train station yet a quiet area) and the room had everything we needed. But the best part of our stay was the host: he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay and experienced the Sri Lankan culture. We had typical Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner at this place, adjusted to our wishes and allergies, which was extremely delicious. When we asked if we could check out later the host answered that everything is possible at Camellia Dwelling - which really described our stay here! Would definitely recommend this place!
