Bed and Breakfast Ineke en John

Really friendly hosts and a wonderful breakfast included in the rent

A little far from the train station, walking 20-30 minutes

Nice place, a lovely small house. The hosts were really kind and the breakfasts were amazing - there was a wide selection of food and every day there was something different.

A little less privacy because of a shared bathroom with other guests, but that is to be expected in this type of accommodation.

location was ideal, parking was easily done, the hosts were wonderful. breakfast was different but superb.

Clean and quiet location

It was written in Booking dot com that parking was available at the address. But it turns out that the parking outside their address is limited to two hours. I was advised of free parking in the neighbouring leisure centre carpark which wasn’t ideal.

I really like the comfy room and good-smell bed, everything was well arranged, details were all taken care of. The host was an adorable elderly couple and showed warm welcome. In 10 minutes of walking there is a big shopping center and there are also many restaurants. I ordered taxi per app from airport and it took around 10min to arrive. Breakfast was prepared with thoughtfully.

There is only shared bathroom downstairs from the room, in urgent case people can also use the restroom at the ground floor. Stairs were a bit steep. There is a shared washbasin in the room-floor so the shared bathroom was not a big matter to me therefore i still enjoyed the stay a lot.

The warmth of Ineke & John made us feel, "At home." The breakfast every morning over the three mornings, was to die for; there was so much balance to the breakfast which we don't include when we eat at home! The ambience of the dining area is vary calming with a touch of spirituality that was not overbearing. Great soft music (mainly jazz) in the background makes for a wonderful start to the day. Beautiful garden outside, tastefully decorated exterior, homely atmosphere right through the property and great Dutch hospitality by Ineke & John. The location is wonderful with an easy walk to shopping centre where there are countless quality restaurants of all variety of cuisine. Schiphol Airport is a mere 10 - 15 minute drive away and John would happily drive the guests there; we used this convenient service. A message for potential guests: this is The Netherlands, a small country and therefore dwellings are compact which means, bedrooms and bathrooms are generally located on upper levels - steps. Cabin size bags would be ideal but if travelling with a bigger bag, the hosts will accommodate it; as they did with us - wonderful. Overall, it was a memorable stay for us and if we were to return to Amsterdam, we would definitely pick, "Bed and Breakfast Ineke en John."

Nothing to criticize.

It was really great to get a glimpse into a authentic household within the Netherlands - Ineke and John are great with their guests, they prepare a great brekkie where nothing Is a miss - special Netherland treats included. Outside garden just beautiful - place is in walking distance (25 minutes) to the train station from where out you can reach Amsterdam within 20 minutes. If you want to visit the sea - car drive 20 minutes Need something to eat around your B&B - 10 minutes walk and you will find lots of different restaurants to enjoy - also sper market, clth stores and to walk through there are pretty parts. nearby as well. It was great being at Inekes and John.

Shared bathroom is something to getting used to if you normally stay in hotels but everything was clean and tidy - enough fresh towels we were provided with - in front of our bedroom was a separate sink to brush your teeth

John and Ineke were very welcoming and made us a lovely breakfast! The bed was very comfortable and the perfect size for two.

Make sure to keep the window open as the upstairs bedroom can get quite warm even with the fan.
