"If you want a break with good hosts, good food and facilities, book it."

According to the owners we didn't have the best room on the property, but we did have the best view, the Culloden Viaduct and surrounding countryside, but we thought our room was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, situated in the owners large kitchen where you could see your food being prepared, and more importantly, have good conversation with them and other guests.

Nothing at all to dislike.

Our stay at Doura Lodge in Scotland was absolutely wonderful. Josef and Emma were incredible hosts and truly made our trip special. They took the time to give us recommendations for places to visit, scenic drives, restaurants, and local attractions — and every single suggestion turned out to be fantastic. Their knowledge of the area helped us experience Scotland in a way we never could have planned on our own. The bed and breakfast itself was warm, comfortable, spotless, and welcoming, with a relaxing atmosphere that made it feel like a home away from home. Josef and Emma’s hospitality, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm for helping guests enjoy Scotland really stood out. If you are looking for a place to stay with hosts who truly care about making your vacation memorable, Doura Lodge is an outstanding choice. Highly recommend
