A Meadow House

Terry was very kind and accomodating to our needs. The rooms were quiet and comfortable and the perfect distance for a wedding we attended.

Bed was comfortable

Small, very cluttered room. Sense of camping out in space where other people continued to live. Thought I was booking a B & B, but no actual breakfast provided.

Very cozy and comfortable. Plenty of snacks. Big backyard hot tub.

Tiny bathroom

The space was very cozy and felt like home. Lots of interesting tchotchkes, and lots of open space in the backyard. Loved hanging out with the cats! And there were snacks and coffee, which was lovely. The host even offered to drive me to and from the mechanic, which was so nice! I cannot wait to come back!!

Terry was so welcoming and friendly. It felt like hanging out with a friend! She invited us to hang out by the fire pit when we arrived and we had such a great conversation!

Everything was great! It’s definitely like staying at someone’s house with all of their stuff around but it really was great for us! We like a laid back vibe! Also be sure you’re ok with cats! Their cats cuddled with us in bed!

My stay was great, Terry was a great host. I was very comfortable and just loved Simon and Jagger the house cats.

We like that the owner sent a couple of Emails a few days before we arrived to tell us about the property and its situation - eg 2 live-in cats. This was important because it gave us a bit of an idea before arrival that the place might be a bit quirky... which is quite frankly abit of an understatement!! The owner said "make yourself at home" which was nice but the house is literally full of stuff all sorts of trinkets and personal belongings which are all over the place. But some of this stuff is really interesting racing stuff linked to the nearby racing circuit - so if you are into cars and racing then you need to stay here just for the experience!!

We mentioned the house is quirky and there is stuff everywhere? It would be better if the owner could move a few personal things out of the bedrooms - in our room there wasnt a surface not covered in the owners trinkets or a drawer or cupboard not full of clothes and other stuff. There was literally nowhere we could put our own things in the room. Likewise it was nice to be told "make yourself at home" but as we didnt see the owner in the 2 days we were there, we felt awkward having to move the owners things to take advantage of her offer - we would have liked to meet you!! - especially to ask about the racing!!

The whole home felt very cramped. There is so much clutter and trinkets and visual overload as soon as you pull in to this address, open the front door and especially in my room. So much stuff on every surface there was nowhere to put my bag down. The place needs a serious decluttering and dusting. Food items past their sell by date, cats roaming the house freely and crawling all over you if you sit down, constantly trying to get into your bedroom, shower slow to heat up, no lighting out the back where the hot tub was located. Extremely overpriced for what you get, will never return here ever again.
