A Meadow House

I found A Meadow House to be a gracious experience. The abundance of snacks, selection of coffees, towels, blankets, books ,the hot tub and the friendly cats all added up to a very comfortable and enjoyable time.

Great location if you're going to race! It's right across the street. The owner of the house is extremely friendly. It almost felt like I was visiting my moms house. She lives there so it's like you are going to stay in a room at your family's house. She makes you feel at home. Make sure you have that expecation.

Choices were somewhat overwhelming Loved the feline company

Amazing location directly across the road from Lime Rock Park. Our bunk room was perfect for my family of four plus grand-puppy, “Miles.” Terry is a wonderful host. We loved hearing her stories of experiences in the racing world! The hot tub and fire pit were a welcome respite after a long day at the track.

Terry seems very nice and most of what happened wasn't her fault. There was a bear in her house. These things happen, I'm told and she communicated professionally and quickly. We did not see the bear and we were safe

After the bear attack we got downgraded, not upgraded. Our stay at the hitching post was dirty, smelled like cigarettes and the staff there were unmoving to our complaints. Terry didn't really consult with us before booking a new place. I appreciate she recognized the fact we needed a room but I think it would have been better if she had talked us through some options and offered a refund among other choices.
