The Sun Inn

The staff were amazing, we have recently dined at a top restaurant in Manchester and the service we had at The Sun Inn was 1000 times better than that. The food was so good, we had to leave before breakfast but I can imagine that it would be just as good. The menus have plenty of choice. The room was warm but once we opened the windows it wasn't long until it cooled down. Facilities in the room were good, the bathroom was modern. We had everything we needed.

There was no chair of any sort in the room and no usable table or work surface, so comfort was minimal. I could not get the TV to work and reported it. It was said someone would come and see but no-one did. I needed an early start every morning but breakfast was not served until 08.00 so I could not enjoy breakfast. On the first night there seemed to be a staff party which was loud and did not break-up until gone 12.30.

Soundproofing poor; we were above the bar, and could hear conversations clearly Service rather slow for dinner - but they were very busy (perhaps need more waiting staff?)
