Friendly staff, good food and atmosphere

Unfortunately it was almost impossible to sleep due to the large generator outside, hopefully that’s a temporary issue

Very friendly staff and very friendly local people who were in the the sun inn pub at the time of our stay, excellent breakfast and evening meals, wot was so good about our stay it is wot it says on the tin when booking

There is nothing to dislike about this property

Had a fantastic stop at The Sun Inn while on the Coast to Coast cycle. We were a group of 8 with 5 bikes. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very comfy. Good internet connection and plenty of sockets in the bunk room. Facilities were great. The dinner and breakfast were also brilliant. An enormous thank you to Lucy, Sue and Jane.

Staff were very lovely friendly and efficient. Food was excellent.

Nice location off the motorway. Frienfly staff and great food for evening meal and excellent breakfast. Nice area to sit outside beside the river on a sunny afternoon or evening

Only minor issue but can be bit noisy in the pub up until closing time.
