Very friendly staff great location

Thought breakfast was included but was my mistake

Wir haben diese Unterkunft als gehobenes und ruhiges Resort gebucht. Während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts (4 Nächte) befand sich jedoch in etwa fünf Metern Entfernung von unserem Bungalow eine Baustelle, auf der neue Bungalows errichtet wurden. Es kam täglich über viele Stunden zu deutlichem Baulärm (Hämmern, Sägen etc.). Diese Bauarbeiten wurden bei der Buchung nicht erwähnt. Vor Ort wurde uns lediglich ein Villenwechsel angeboten, der die Lärmsituation nicht verbessert hätte, da die Baustelle weiterhin unmittelbar angrenzend war. Eine aus unserer Sicht angemessene Lösung wurde vom Management nicht angeboten, und eine konstruktive direkte Klärung war nicht möglich. Das Personal war freundlich, jedoch blieb das Kernproblem während des gesamten Aufenthalts bestehen. Für ein Resort dieser Preisklasse erwarten wir Transparenz und ein aktives Management bei offensichtlichen Beeinträchtigungen. Aktuell können wir die Unterkunft Ruhesuchenden nicht empfehlen.

Location right on the beach, close to the port. And the staff so friendly and helpful

The staff was super friendly and I loved the location! The restaurant has great food and beautiful views! The room was nice. :)

Compared to other places I stayed at during my Indonesian trip, this one was the most expensive which I didn’t find reasonable. Also the WiFi didn’t work in all areas of our bungalow.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mowies and were devastated when the time came to leave! The room was beautiful, the vibes at the reception area and beach restaurant were so chilled out and relaxing - it was impossible not to feel like you were in heaven there. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and one of them arranged us a brilliant private snorkelling trip at such a reasonable price. The location was also perfect for sunset and dinner.

The only downside to our room at Mowies was that the bathroom ceiling was netted, which meant lots of ants could get in - this resulted in quite a few bites unfortunately. I would really recommend that Mowies try to fix this for a more comfortable stay!
