Sehr schöner Aufenthalt in einer liebevoll gestalteten Unterkunft in ruhiger Lage. Die Besitzer sind höchst zuvorkommend und äußerst freundlich. Das Frühstück kann individuell zusammengestellt werden und wird frisch zubereitet. Insgesamt ein toller Ort, um die Gegend Brecon Beacons zu erkunden.

We were warmly welcomed and the room is very comfortable with an amazing view and access to beautiful grounds. It was just the relaxing break we needed in a stunning location. Loved the breakfast to be enjoyed in the room. Thank you.

We loved the property! I’d have liked a comfy chair. Dining chairs were slightly high for me as a shorter person but bed was very comfortable so just a personal preference.

Our weekend at Cwmbach Lodge was nothing short of magical. It is truly one of the most special and memorable stays we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, John and Clare made us feel so incredibly welcome. They are the sweetest, loveliest hosts. They are warm, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. Their communication before and during our stay was fantastic: responsive, helpful, and always happy to go the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. You can really feel how much love and pride they put into their home. The setting is absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the stunning mountain views from our room felt like something out of a postcard. The garden at the back of the house, with its peaceful pond and visiting ducks, is so tranquil and picturesque — the perfect place to slow down and just take it all in. Even on a moody, cloudy morning, the landscape looked dramatic and beautiful, and when the sun broke through it was simply spectacular. The room itself was so cosy and comfortable. The heating kept everything wonderfully warm despite the chilly weather outside, the bed was incredibly comfy (we slept so well!), and the shower was powerful and refreshing. It was everything you could want after a day exploring. And then there’s the breakfast… absolutely amazing. John and Clare served the most delicious spread, and enjoying it while looking out over the mountains was such a treat. Fresh pastries, warm bagels, coffee and all the thoughtful little touches — it felt indulgent and special, yet homely at the same time. Starting the day with that view and such care put into every detail made it unforgettable. Every part of our stay felt peaceful, welcoming, and so thoughtfully done. It’s rare to find somewhere that combines stunning scenery, genuine hospitality, and true comfort so perfectly. This was a truly unforgettable stay and we already can’t wait to return.
