The host was super friendly, breakfast was good, everything was very clean.

The bed was not very comfortable, some.basics that you would normally see such as shampoo and conditioner, were not in the bathroom (I bring my own when I travel, but it would be something you would normally see), as well as the lighting in the room and was not great. The location is also a bit out of the way so getting a taxi is not a guarantee.

La camera non aveva la moquette, abbiamo soggiornato in giornate particolarmente ventose e fredde per la stagione ma l'ambiente era piacevolmente ben riscaldato, le nostre richieste di avere 2 colazioni differenti (1 continentale e 1 full Irish) sono state pienamente soddisfatte

Il bagno avrebbe bisogno di una rapida ristrutturazione

Die Anzeige entspricht nicht der Realität. Es hieß, dass zur Ausstattung eine Küche gehört, weshalb wir bereits für Abendessen eingekauft haben. Die Gastgeberin sagte aber, dass das eine andere Zimmerkategorie sei. Sie hat uns die Küche dann trotzdem nutzen lassen, diese war aber nur ungenügend ausgestattet. Die Betten waren eine Katastrophe, unbequem und bei jeder Bewegung laut knarrend. Die Lage ist sehr unschön, alles nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen und keine Möglichkeit auch nur wenige Meter mit dem Hund zu gehen

Phill is a very attentive and hard working host. Breakfast was pleasant hot and ready.

The bed could use a firmer upgrade. The ambient noise from the other rooms is apparent when other guests are not respectful of the fact that the place is shared by other travellers. Perhaps better attention to notify guests that this is a shared common space or significant upgrades to soundproofing the rooms are in order. Could easily hear conversations, TV and other recreational adult activities during our stay. That being said when all is quiet, it can be very peaceful and serene.

Struttura/casa molto bella stanze ampie e accoglienti niente da eccepire .

Unica pecca al mio arrivo non c’era nessuno la casa era aperta e ho dovuto telefonare alla padrona più volte per capire che la mia stanza era al piano superiore e che le chiavi erano nella toppa…..purtroppo è un po’ il problema dei B&B che non hanno reception.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Gastgeberin empfangen. Sie konnte sogar mit uns auf Deutsch reden, was ja nicht selbstverständlich ist in einem englischsprachigen Land. Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut und wurde frisch für uns zubereitet! Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet, perfekt für einen Aufenthalt mit Familie mit Kleinkind.

Die Unterkunft liegt an einer Autostraße ohne Gehweg, die Anreise ist somit eigentlich nur mit einem Auto/Taxi gut zu machen. Zu Fuß ist es schwierig zu erreichen. (Für uns weniger schlimm, da wir mit dem Auto unterwegs waren, aber es wäre schön, das Stadtzentrum von Ballina zu Fuß zu erreichen, aber da kann man sich ja mit arrangieren :-) )
