The Castleton

This hotel was excellent, good position central to everything, host Kate was very helpful made sure you had everything you needed, a great selection for breakfast all cooked fresh. Rooms were of a good size and tastefully decorated, would definitely recommend.

Beautifully equipped in an excellent location. Very helpful staff. I'm looking for an excuse to come back!

There is limited on-site parking but vouchers are provided for a nearby public car park.

Breakfast was second to none a wide choice and nothing too much trouble . Room lovely and bright .

Kate is an excellent host. The room and en suite were beautiful and the breakfasts were superb. Incredibly well run and very efficient, our stay exceeded our expectations and the photos don’t do it justice. It is in a wonderful location and is just fabulous!

Great location very clean lovely place excellent food and service

Everything was absolutely lovely. The breakfast was delicious, my partner even said it was the best scrambled eggs he’s had in a long time! The room was spotless, very comfortable and warm, which made our stay really cosy. Check-in and check-out were very easy and well organised. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful throughout. You can really feel the care and attention to detail in this place.

The castleton was a fabulous place to stay, exceptionally clean and well maintained, breakfast was outstanding and the friendliness of the staff made us so welcome. Location was great - only 10 mins walk to the main town. No hesitation in giving the castleton a top rating and cannot wait to stay again in the future!
