Amanda and Dan are so lovely..they are very knowledgeable of the area and able to make recommendations. Breakfast was delicious and freshly made. Room was spotless and the towels were soft and fluffy. We were in room 8 and the shower in that room was fabulous with lovely hot water and strong flow. Loved the little tasty treats available in the hallway. If we are in the area again we will definately book The Chesterfield again

very quiet and peaceful, back away from the main part of town.

Excellent breakfast with lots of choices. Very friendly staff. Great location, under 10 minutes walk to the seafront. Comfortable good sized room, bathroom very nicely decorated. The hotel doesn't have its own parking, but there is plenty of parking on the roads behind the hotel, just as the hotel owners had advised. We will definitely stay here again. Many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

For an overnight stay for work purposes the location is ideal. I like the arrival process where I don't need to trouble anybody and both Amanda and Dan are very welcoming hosts.
