Villa Walton

Wir waren im Cottage Anbau untergebracht. Wunderschön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück wurde von Sue liebevoll hergerichtet, und es schmeckte sensationell gut. Als Ausgangspunkt für Hobbiton hervorragend.

Das WLAN funktionierte nicht richtig. Ein Wecker mit USB Ladeanschlüssen wäre ein „nice to have“ gewesen ;-)

The cottage was well stocked and clean. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and our walk through their garden. We highly recommend Villa Walton.

Arriving after 3 day travel, we wanted clean, comfortable accommodation, nice breakfast to set us up. While pricey, this seemed to fit the bill. I guess 2 out of 3 ain't bad!! Room was exceptional, as were the grounds (Might be an idea to repaint the (peeling) outside tub!!) really good nights sleep, which we needed, breakfast was diy, bacon, eggs & bits. Absolutely zonked, we opted for the fruit, yogurt, juice, boiled a couple of eggs for later. All good, just looked forward to having a breakfast cooked for us! Did it spoil the stay? no, but having expected would have raised to exceptional. Worth noting, Villa Walton is a good way north of Matamata, we missed the turn, had to backtrack several K.

DIY breakfast. Lovely ingredients, just too tired to cook. Addition of 'credit card surcharge was disappointing - if I'd known, I'd have paid cash. An already pricey stay hiked........

Truly beautiful property inside and out. Clean, gorgeous rooms, amazing breakfast too. Sue and Neil took care of us and we enjoyed being in their home. Listening to the birds in the morning and seeing the delightful garden outside the windows was exactly what we needed. Thankyou Sue and Neil we’ll be back!!
