The B&B was so cozy it was so nice and peaceful after a long trip in NZ that was what I needed. The little things like having some homemade jam and bread was delicious. Thank you so much for everything xx

It was nice to arrive to a lit and warm apartment, clear instructions, no issue finding property, very comfortable.

Unfortunately we had luke warm early showers but the water was hot by time we had breakfast, perhaps it is on a timer.

The homely touches. The extra effort to make guests feel comfortable - breakfast in the fridge, information book, labels everywhere. Peaceful, non invasive stay.

So cute and comfortable!!! Delicious home made bread and fresh eggs for breakfast. It was so relaxing being out on a farm next to goats. And we had a delicious Italian dinner in Matamata. Super close to Hobbiton!! Thanks for a great night!

I was a bit worried about staying in the "barn extension", but was immediately set at ease when we arrived. The venue is an absolute gem- spacious with a separate kitchen, living area and washing rooms. The decor is tasteful and classy, with special treats in the fridge and fresh fruit in the kitchen. The bedroom is cosy with a super-comfortable bed fitted with electric blankets, which may be handy, but we did not need it as the heatpump / Aircon kept the place at a comfortable warm temperature. The kitchen and washroom are fully stocked with all equipment needed. The directions to find the place seemed complicated, but it was super easy - I used "Waze" as my preferred driving app, leading me to the farm gate, and the venue is less than 200m inside the gate. The whole area and surrounds are spectacular with awesome views of the picturesque farms along the route to get there. (Matamata is a beautiful small town with ample dining and shopping options just a short 20 min drive away). I would definitely stay here again and absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for accommodation close to Hobbiton, Matamata or just passing through.

Nothing negative to say. Just a warning that the goats may make funny noises and "knocks" at night, but it IS a farm after all, so nothing weird there. A kind suggestion is maybe just to have 2 beers and/or 2 cooldrinks available - I know it is an extra treat already, but will be even better if the couple staying can each have their own.
