Great location! Close to ocean but can not hear the train.

If there are kids next room than you will hear them. But if you are not a long sleeper and go to surf or excursion than no problem.

Gutes Bett, gute Lage da es zum Strand zu Fuß 10 Minuten sind. Sehr komfortables Zimmer, Klo und Dusche waren im Zimmer jeweils in einem extra Raum, fanden wir sehr gut. Es war sehr sauber und die terasse war sehr schön. Kleines Manko: es ist etwas hellhörig wenn sich andere im Flur aufhalten, aber war in Ordnung. Pluspunkt ist auch, dass man kostenlos die Waschmaschine benutzen durfte.

Effort villa was a great discovery for me. The moment you enter there you feel home. The atmosphere, the hospitality and beautiful garden welcomes you. It has very spacious rooms which are very clean and tidy and opens to backyard balcony/ patios one side and a large living room onto another. Villa has a nice kitchen, which is very well stuffed with ingredients and all the cutlery, where one can cook for self. It has laundry machines which you can use and enough drying place in the backyard. The villa owner Mr.Kamal was great a host who took care of me like his personal guest, he entertained for dinner too. He is a really helpful person who looks beyond business. He goes out of his way to help guests. And last but not least , the caretaker there, Mr Dhanuka was great help in everything, cooking, washing clothes or getting things. He is very humble and always ready to help. I booked for 2 days, but I ended up staying 6 days in Villa. It's really worth the money. Next visit to Srilanka will include my stay here. Thank you Mr. Kamal and Dhanuka you really made my stay a great pleasure.

Probably one of my favorite stays in ahangama for this price! It’s very quiete even though it’s so close to the main road. The staff working there was extremely helpful and friendly. As a woman travelling on my own I felt super safe. The kitchen has so many amenities. Would always come again!!

Clean, spacious, access to washing machine and kitchen. Beautiful looking villa in a nice location! Really nice and welcoming family

Schön ruhig gelegene Unterkunft und sehr netter Gastgeber.

Das Einzelzimmer wurde nachträglich oben drauf gesetzt. Die Treppe dorthin ist sehr steil und die Stufen sehr schmal. Nicht für jeden geeignet.
