Armadale House Scotland Farr North Coast B&B

The bedroom and bathroom were huge and well appointed. The breakfast was excellent. Detta was a lovely host and we thoroughly enjoyed talking to her. She was informative about the local area and very interesting lady.

Everything. The property was in as original condition as it could possibly be and that made it quite quirky, but it was very comfortable. Detta the host is very informative and knowledgeable. There are kitchen facilities for an evening meal which was really welcome after our long journey mainly because we had relied on restaurant food for 5 weeks - so it was wonderful to be able to cook a home cooked meal. We loved being close to a working farm with lots of lambs around. Don’t expect this accomodation to have all the modern facilities. That’s the beauty of it. There is a beautiful short walk to a pristine beach which is delightful.

It wasn’t a problem, but there was no TV.

This was a perfect end to the holiday. Armadale house is good position to cover the area

We had a spacious room and bathroom in an interesting old house set in a beautiful garden surrounded by farmland and views toward the North Sea. We loved our kind hostess and her excellent breakfasts. Also appreciated the little kitchenette that was handy for a quick evening meal since we were fairly isolated.

Only one tiny complaint was a rather strong smell probably from a plumbing issue in our bathroom.
