Casa Fortunata

We loved the spacious apartment, but especially the terrace overlooking the sea, where we relaxed on the sunbeds in the evening and had breakfast in the morning. The accomodation is very close to the center and next to the main bus station in Positano. Also, it included products for breakfast and houshold appliances with which you can prepare something easy to eat.

There are a few stairs, but nothing we couldn’t handle. I guess for someone older or if you have a baby stroller, the walk till property would be a bit harder.

funky hot water system.

The location and value was great in Positano - it was close to the bus stop which was very convenient! it was also quite spacious apartment with a nice large deck as pictured with a sea view.

The shower had issues in terms of running hot water - it was quite unstable providing hot water for around 10 seconds at a time. it often went hot and cold. During our stay we also had a short circuit when we put on the stove while having aircon on at the same time and had to wait for the hosts to help assist for a while. it seems this must happen frequently as the guy said ‘you can’t use hair dryer and aircon’ when he saw us. (we weren’t using the hair dryer at all…) it would have been helpful for them to tell us upfront prior to staying to not use the aircon with other parts of the house if it is very sensitive.
