Casa Fortunata

Perfectly situated, short walk to the centre of Positano. You have the whole property to yourself, breakfast is in the kitchen for your ease . The terrace is large and definitely makes staying at the property special, our hosts were very attentive.

Positano is very hilly and there are around 130 steps to the property but definitely worth the hike

Everything was lovely, and the host was so friendly, would definitely stay here again!

We visited in the last week of July for 2 nights. It is located ~15 mins from the town centre and 25 mins to Positano Spiaggia. The apartment was great! It was clean, fresh, and tidy which was simple and minimalistic. It had basic amenities such as a microwave, boiler, fridge, etc. The nights there were great as the air conditioning was strong but you could try sleeping without it as it gets cooler (~25 celsius) and windier in the evening. They provided a simple breakfast such as bread, cornetto, yogurt, spreads, milk and cereal which were sufficient for both of us. The balcony offered limited views of the sea and the cliff side which was a lovely addition. It had ample space to dry your laundry and 2 sun beds were provided too.

Positano is located on the cliffside, so the property was quite high up on the cliff so you would have to climb up multiple flights of stairs to get to it. I would recommend traveling light and not bringing huge luggage bags.

Everything was perfect. Breakfast, location, the apartment with the view, the hosts and the price was expensive but compared with the rest of the apartments on this area it was reasonable.

Nothing I can recall. People complain about the stairs but it’s like this almost everywhere, unless you stay in a hotel, I would say.

Stayed for 6 nights in the apartment, great view of the coastline, walking to restaurants ferry to get to Capri and Sita bus outside 2 minutes away to visit Amaifi coast.

If you're not use to stairs this could be a problem here in Positano lots of climbing up and down, but worth it🙂

Host is wonderful

The house is great, the attention from the owners of Casa Fortunata is great, they are always attentive and answer fast. Good Breakfast. 10-15 minutes walking to Positano.

Is not a big deal, but you need to be prepared because there are a lot of stairs to arrive to Casa Fortunata.
