Campi Elisi

The room was simple, but it met my needs. A flat km from the train & bus station, it was an easy walk and close to the archaeology park. The apartment is only a block from an incredible modern church. You can't miss it. The breakfast was an excellent pastry and coffee from the cafe just outside the building. They have a remarkable array of gluten-free options and list all of the ingredients.

The balcony was very dirty and looked out on a junky courtyard, so I wouldn't count it as an asset of the apartment.

The room was tidy and included a coffee machine and some small snacks, included in the price. The B&B is located in a residential neigbourhood, on a quiet street not far from the main street. The location is conveniently about half way down between the old town (Ortigia) and the Roman amphitheatre and other sights on that area. I walked to the city center, but there are also a lot of busses running on the main street. Also a bus stop, where the busses from Catania and the airport stop, is close by. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for a longer stay as well.

Very clean and comfortable room, spacious bathroom. Great contact with the owner and very clear rules for the payment, silence etc.

The street is a bit noisy, but with the windows closed and the air conditioning on I slept perfectly.

Nice room, good quality + helpful owner. Good value for money.

A bit further from the old town that I was expecting be it a 15-20 min walk. Balcony view at the rear was not so nice + no breakfast on the Sunday, although I was advised in advance but did not receive any discount.
