Location of the lodge is great - can not complain on that! Its close to big supermarkets, train station and of course the beach. Outside the lodge there is a car park space for cars - a bit tight spaces but I think its still a bonus Lodge is baby friendly. As there is no lift we left the baggy at the reception. There is a TV and a kettle in the room

One thing which the lodge needs to work on is definitely the CLEANINESS of the place - I was disgusted when saw dirty bedding on my first night. There was some hair on the bedsheet and blood stains. We showed that to the owner and he said that he might of cut himself while changing bedding. The floor was not hoovered neither so we needed to cleaned it as we had a small baby with us. View from the widow was poor - we were looking at next lodge wall. In regards to bathroom - sinks is very small. Shower curtain sticks to you while having shower. Description stated that we booked a family room but this room was far from being a "family room"- very small for 2 people and a baby

The people who run this are incredible. Carl is genuinely the nicest man you could meet he couldnt have done anymore to make my son and I feel comfortable and welcome he went above and beyond in everyway and if we go to skegness again we will 100% only be staying here.
