Yashumi Homestay

Yashumi was very nice, the room was perfectly clean. It has a big private bathroom, air conditioning and the allow to park the tuktuk inside the garden, which is very helpful. It also has a very nice terrace.The breakfast was amazing, home made traditional Sri Lanka pancakes filled with coconut and a relish on a side. Very tasty. Location is great, 5 minutes walk from the access to the temple. If you do not fancy walking the stairs take a tuktuk for 300 rupees.

A great stay at Yashumi. Very clean room and bathroom. Owners of property very kind and accommodating. Comfortable pillows and bed, the best I've come across in my 3 weeks travelling in sri lanka. Great breakfast included. Nice verandah to utilise during our stay. Can definitely recommend this place. Thankyou for such a great stay!

Excellent home stay experience. The host Ranga is super nice and helpful. The room is spotless clean and with a big balcony. It located very near the Golden Temple and Dambulla Cave Temple, definitely walkable distance, in a quiet area. Far away from city’s chaos. With this reasonable price, it’s unbeatable! Highly recommended!

Amazing host that is passionate about his guest. Assisted with getting Tuk Tuk for a private Tour. Really friendly and approachable.

The room was amazing, so was the host and everything with it.

If you can't handle noise in the night, don't go. It is a very beautiful, clean place, very comfy, but as the upper windows are open and you can not close it, you hear all from outside. When we were there, straying dogs were barking all night long very loud, we could not sleep. Sorry to say that, cause the homestay itself is lovely.

I am very grateful to the family that owns this place. They helped me find a reliable tuk tuk for tourist activities at a good price. They were always willing to help. In fact, the owner even took me to the bus terminal. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was brand new. You have tea available in your room! SUPER clean room!!! The breakfast was unbeatable! Thank you!!!!

Clean homestay, clean bedroom with soft bed, nice pillows, mosquito net, balcony sit out with two long chairs & good views. Tea maker,fan, working table, chair. Bathroom with shower. Free morning breakfast. Just 4 minutes walk from the road. You can ask bus to stop close to the homestay. 10 minutes walk to Dambulla caves.Nice owner. Too much budget friendly.

EXCEPTIONAL service Seriously after 1 month in budget rooms, this felt like being at the Hilton! Service was impeccable, room: the cleanest we had in a month, bathroom spotless. And even tea and kettle in the room. We had a balcony, it was quiet and really I could go on forever. It was perfect. And breakfast was de-li-cious

Only downside: it's not easy to find. Make sure to Google the building and have the photo as there is no sign. Beside that: PERFECT STAY
