The property is located right in the heart of Ambleside. It is beautifully kept inside and out and meticulously clean. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly and provide a lot of extra touches to make the stay special. These include top quality toiletries, complementary home baked cakes ( delicious) and wine! The breakfast is cooked to order and again top quality foods to suit all dietary requirements.

Janet & Stuart are so welcoming. The room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. We had a lovely night's sleep and a delicious breakfast the following morning. Nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend this guesthouse to anyone.

Due to my health I will talk to the owners before booking as my mobility can be not great. This is nothing about the accommodation

We had a very warm welcome and offered homemade cakes and a glass of wine. The room was clean and spacious with a lovely en suite. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and Janet made sure there were gluten free options for us. The location was great, and free parking was a big help.
