The bed and the cushions were very comfortable. The room was very spacious.

The pub down stairs was extremely loud. You can hear people conversations and music playing. Luckily I stayed on a Sunday, so the noise died down around 8:30pm. The were 3 lamps in the room, none of them worked, so you have to use the main light for everything. I was given a key and was left alone in the building. I wasn’t given any instructions on fire safety etc. If you don’t like being alone, then don’t stay here. There were a few spiders webs hanging from the ceiling in the room. The room was lovely and warm in the evening and throughout the night but then it went cold in the morning and the heating turned off.

We didn’t like it.

The lights didn’t work, there was only one towel (2 guests), there were cobwebs, it was dirty, the bed was uncomfortable.

The staff were welcoming, the bed was comfortable, the rooms were warm, pastries were kindly provided (as there was no breakfast included)

There were a lot of cobwebs in the room, and it hadn't been hoovered properly, there was only one towel provided even though they knew there were 2 adults staying in the room, we were given no instructions on arrival e.g. for departure the next morning. The pub was empty overnight and we were given no fire safety or emergency contact information

Absolutely fantastic. The room was a combo of old English construction and modern amenities. I had the best night of sleep there I’ve had in months. The pub was wonderful including the people who welcomed me to share drinks with them. And to top it all off the food was excellent. I will definitely stay there again. So much better than the normal airport hotels.

There was nothing I’d change.

Lovely pub/rooms. Very large, comfortable bed & very nice bedroom decor. Bathroom large with very nice, deep bath. Evening meals were lovely All staff very helpful & friendly.

No breakfast available. Needed to ask for milk each day was not put in the fridge when daily housekeeping was completed. No shower mat - The floor was very slippery, so I needed to use a towel on the base of the shower to prevent possible accidents.
