San Michele Guest House

The hosts were welcoming and fun! They cooked a great breakfast in a lovely formal dining room. The room was a bit small but the shared bathroom was a little difficult. Would stay again. Good location from the ferry and trains.

Breakfast was good, but we would have liked fresh fruit & yoghurts to have been provided, not just cereal & cooked breakfast. On the day we needed to leave before breakfast, we were provided with breakfast in our room, which was very good - cereal, croissants, BLT sandwiches, orange juice, milk & proper coffee. We were given flapjack instead of biscuits some days, which was nice. The B&B is 5 minutes walk up the road to the Red Lion pub, which does very reasonably priced meals, or 24 minutes down the road to the Quay, with a choice of nice eateries. Karen & Stafford were lovely

The shower cubicle was very small - no good for anyone large, also the shower wasn't great

Very warm welcome on arrival, large and well set out room, delicious breakfast and nice chat with the hosts round the table

There wasn't space to comfortably fit our SUV in the parking outside though there is plenty of on street parking nearby

A very nice stay at San Michelle. Comfortable, peaceful and quiet. Superb cleanliness throughout. Lovely full English breakfast served on a large communal table with other guests. A nice idea. Lots of chatting going on. Bus stops to and from Poole right outside. Didn't use a car all weekend. Coming back to Poole later in the year, hope San Michelle is open.

A well kept B&B. No moans whatsoever.

A very friendly welcome and a good breakfast that helped make conversation with other guests. Hosts did introductions to help us all have a chance to chat.
