Sigiri Starwing Villa

We had a lovely stay at this homestay villa run by a welcoming and friendly family. From the moment we arrived, the ladies greeted us with warm smiles, helped us with our luggage, and even offered us drinks, which was a thoughtful touch. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-suited for three people, equipped with AC and a mosquito net (though we didn’t need to use it). One of the highlights of our stay was their adorable dog, Brandon—the cutest and most friendly companion during our time there! We opted to have breakfast with the family, which was a delightful experience. The coconut roti, fresh fruits, eggs, and coffee or tea were delicious and a great way to start the day. The homestay is very quiet, making it perfect for those who love nature and are looking to unwind. Its location is convenient too—just a 30-minute walk to Lion’s Rock and close to several restaurants. The only minor downside was a slight smell in the bathroom, but it didn’t take away from the overall comfort of our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, nature-filled retreat with warm hospitality, this is a great choice!

We came with a family group of 5 members. We had a very pleasant stay. Owner was very nice and polite, they arranged all the things on time. It's recommended to all worth for money😊😊

everything was amazing! the family are the most generous people I have met and made us feel so comfortable during our stay. Whenever we had any questions or requests we were met with kindness and generosity. The homestay is located in nature so it’s a beautiful place to relax after a day exploring. Our room was spotless and clean. Breakfast was great and we were offered many cups of tea during the stay! Also we loved the dog and the kittens!!

Bigger room than expected. Super nice and courteous host! Just a short walk from shops and restaus. A simple but tasty breakfast is (freshly made and different variations everyday) served on the terrace. Support for trips was uncomplicated and spontaneously feasible. Very good price performance ratio! Thanks for the great hospitality!

The shower drain was jammed. No big deal in the end...

It was an amazing stay and great hospitality shown by the host and his family. The breakfast served there was probably one of the best in Sri Lanka and it's located very close to the Sigiriya Lion's Rock. RECOMMENDED

Very new, clean and comfy rooms in a lush green environment of a coconut garden, also lots of animals to look at and rice fields surrounding the property. You can even see the Sigiri-Rock from the backyard. The host is super nice and helps you with everything you might need. There are three rooms right now but we were the only ones here.

The breakfast was ok.

The place is quite far from the main road and the owner's dogs keep barking at strangers, so it is very uncomfortable to go out after dark. There were a lot of ants in the bathroom.
