Matteotti Apartment

Good value for money. Central location. We had few issues with the apartment and the owner did her best to resolve it. Kitchen has all you need if you decide to prep some food. There is utility room with washing machine.

Central location comes with traffic and city noise. You wouldn't be able to leave the windows open during the night. Bad smell from the sewers in one of the apartments but this is due to some issues with the building sewer pipes.

Excellent location , Main Street, close to bridge and markets.Spacious with lots of light and windows,regular cleaning and contact . Welcome baking was fabulous. The pick up from the station .

Was a little noisy with renovating nearby and cafes . All quiet from late night to 8 am .

Very nice Italian breakfast. They provided an handmade cake on the first day as well. Very good location on the main high street, very close to all amenities and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

It was a bit noisy during the night

An excellent host, she met us at the bus station and drove us into town. We then happened to meet her again in the market where she helped us get a table at a busy restaurant. Couldn't have been more helpful! The accommodation was great. Clean, well furnished and in a very central location.

Thank you, Mrs. Anita, for your warm welcome. First, a surprise with picking us up with luggage from the bus station to the very clean apartment. And secondly, for the delicious tart and meringues that were waiting for us. Elegant apartment, wooden floor! comfortable beds, new windows with blinds that effectively suppress the noise from the outside and beautiful curtains . We had everything we needed plus a washing machine with a small dryer. Apartment cleaned, linen and towels changed. The price of the apartment includes an Italian breakfast (toast, butter, jams, chocolate, juices, coffee, water). Apartment on the beautiful Matteotti street close to everything, grocery store around the corner, right next to Viola cafe and restaurants. We spent a wonderful 11 days. If we ever come back to Sicily, we will definitely go to the Residence Matteotti. We also recommend a very good bar with delicious coffee, cannoli, granita and drinks decorated in a beautiful style! Erminio, the fantastic owner and the bar is called Erminio Bar. We really recommend you to drop by, and not only once. It is on the road to bus and train station, very convenient to start or end trips. Another good bar with delicious coffee and cornetto is Bar del Corso on Corso Umberto. We recommend delicious ice cream in the Voglia Matta bar also on Corso Umbertto. On the other hand, the best car rental is I-Rent on Corso Umberto 1, 4 96100 Siracusa - normal prices and not excessive as in traditional chain stores, eg AWIZ, Rent a Car.
