Matteotti Apartment

Location in centre of Ortigia, close to sights, cafes, shopping and transport. The appartment was comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. Anita was the most welcoming host we have met in many years - we would certainly stay here again.

Terrific location above the main retail street in the middle of Ortigia. Spacious and well presented apartment. And a wonderful host; Anita is very friendly, very helpful and very easy to communicate with.

The apartment can be a bit noisy late at night. The big laneway behind the apartment is very busy with cafes and music. But, of course, you are in a busy place!

The apartment is very well located, has everything you need and Anita was nice and helpful.

Anita was super kind & collected us from the bus terminal in Syracuse. The apartment is a great size, in a building on one of the main streets in Ortigia. It is extremely well appointed with a good size bedroom, walk in wardrobe, separate sitting room etc the photos don’t do it justice, a true home from home. Anita left us the most delicious home baked cake & even offered to return us to the station when we left. We loved it !

There is no outside space but we knew that when we booked.

Nice location, in the center of Ortigia. It was clean comfortable and the host was very kind.

It lack a parking close to the room. The closest parking is at 500m.

The location of the apartment was perfect. At the end of the street was a main street where you could shop or eat at restaurants. It didn't take long to walk to the port and many attractions.

Wonderful apartement i ideal location and great host.

The apartment we had was fantastic. There is an elevator in the building. The apt was a great size, very comfortable bed, kitchen, dining and couch/seating area, walk-in wardrobe, great sized bathroom. The location is amazing, in Ortigia, close to everything, the food market, Apollo, Diana's fountain, pedestrian streets full of restaurants and shops, two supermarkets within 2 mins walk. We could walk to couple of small beaches and we would recommend this accommodation to anyone. We were met by Anita who was amazing, very friendly and helpful, she gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant on our first night, and walked us there! and she brought us to the bus for our return to Catania airport. We will return.

We would have loved a balcony, but not possible at this location obviously! That being said, we had so many cafes, gelateria and restaurants on our doorstep, it was not a deal breaker by any stretch.
