Matteotti Apartment

Well cared for apartment located in the center of town. Anita is so gracious. She picked us up from the train station and dropped us off when our stay ended. She gifted us delicious cookies and an amazing berry tart. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. They have a washing machine so we were able to do laundry, which was wonderful as the weather was very hot!

The quirky elevator was good for luggage but we used the steps to get in and out. There was a noisy neighbor above us that would move chairs late into the night.

La signora Anita è stata estremamente disponibile e gentile sia prima che durante il soggiorno, rendendosi disponibile anche a gestire i permessi ZTL per le nostre macchine. Gli appartamenti sono molto belli e dotati di tutto il necessario. particolarmente apprezzato il collaboratore che si è reso disponibile durante il nostro soggiorno. All'ultimo piano del palazzo è presente un terrazzo molto bello, la posizione della casa è inoltre centrale, con ogni comfort nel raggio di pochi metri.

Anita and her assistant were excellent, always waiting to help and very attentive throughout our stay. The location was perfect . You couldn't ask for anything more.

the apartment is perfectly located: restaurants, shops, market, the bay, the beach - everything is near, the train station is 12min walk (also the bus station) which is perfect if you want to explore the area by bus or train as the towns nearby has a lot to offer. Anita has picked us up at the train station the day we have arrived as we took train from Catania and drove us to the accommodation with her husband and presented the apartment to us. Everything was up to our expectations, the place was very clean and neat and smelled lovely :) Anita has brought us cookies she had made herself and they were absolutely delicious. I would recommend staying here.

The apartment is located in the center Otigia in an upscale street, convenient to go around by foot, very clean and spacious. Anita the host is very warm. We appreciate that she took time driving us from/to the train station. The nearby market is a must visit to get delicious fruits and other foods.

The apartment is comfortable, very clean and well decorated for a vacation visit to Ortigia. The location is exceptional, you can walk to every where in the island. In addition, the owner Anita is so courteous she picked us up at the out of town parking lot and brought us to the apartment so we would not have to be pulling our luggage all around town. When we got to the apartment she had a person bring our luggage’s to the apartment. The same was true when we departed.

Nothing, well we did not like we had to leave.

Everything is perfect. The property is located in the city centre, close to shops and restaurants. This is a very comfortable apartment with everything you need. The host is fantastic, who offered us a pick up service from/to the bus terminal.

Host Anita was very helpful! Location was great; everything is within walking distance.

The owner and staff were friendly! Big space, it was truly comfortable for the 3 of us. I really appreciated the included espresso machine and espresso, made getting up and starting our day so easy. Having an elevator was much needed as we traveled with my grandparents and they needed it. The apartment included info and recommendations which made our trip so much easier! Will definitely book again the next time I come to Ortigia.

The bathroom shower could use a little update other wise the size and everything else in the bathroom was perfect!

Lovely host who picked us up and dropped us off from the bus station. Great apartment, all facilities you would need, and serviced each day. Super location in the central area with a supermarket at the back of the block.
