Matteotti Apartment

The location is perfect and the well cared for apartment has everything you might need. The host Anita is charming and helpful. We very much appreciated Anita’s help when we arrived, the delicious treats and excellent restaurant recommendations left in the apartment.

Clean, spacious and central location, and the best part of the stay was the host. Anita picked us up late at night at the bus terminal when our flight was delayed and also dropped us off at the bus terminal on departure. She welcomed us with a tray of delicious local pastries.

There was a bit of traffic noise especially in early morning when the cleaning truck was at work since the bedroom faced the main road.

Central location on Main Street in Ortigia meant easy walking to the sights of the beautiful historic heart of Siracusa. Spacious apartment on first floor overlooking street with all necessary amenities for a very comfortable five night stay. Anita is an excellent host who provided great support for our stay, even offering transport to/from the train station on our arrival and departure. Great value for money.

Care and attention to detail with the things provided almost as though you’re in a 5 star hotel. Anita also made some typical Sicilian treats as a welcome for us. She greeted us punctually and showed us round the premises.

The water in the bathroom got cold quickly

Did not include breakfast. Location was very convenient. Landlady was exceptionally helpful.

Kitchen was missing wine glasses and a bottle opener (beverages).

Wszystko było super, wyjątkowa czystość, swietne wyposażenie, lokalizacja rewelacyjna, w samym sercu Ortigi, w pięknej starej kamienicy, poczęstunek od gospodyni w postaci pysznych ciasteczek, kapsułki do kawy, swietnie działąjąca klimatyzacja i wi-fi. Gospodyni cudowna, rewelacyjny kontakt. Polecam bardzo!
