location was good but by a busy road which kept me awake most of the night. bed was hard (thin mattress) and very small single room breakfast was low quality It was a cheap price but I took a chance with the 4.2/5 rating but won't be a 'next time' ultimately- you get what you pay for so maybe my expectations were too high

road noise, hard uncomfortable bed, smelly drains, poor quality breakfast

Fantastic room and view and staff and breakfast was great

It was a nice location and the decor was fine

The small single room I stayed in absolutely reeked of bad drains from the a joining toilet it wasnt a sealing door and I had a really uncomfortable night with the window wide open because it was so foul especially when someone in the building showered .. when I entered the room it hit me and the landlady just handed me a can of air freshener and said she was aware if it but nothing could be done about it ! Her attitude wasn’t even apologetic and it was far too late after a long drive to find another place .. while at breakfast the uncommunicative manger entered my room without informing me ! The host said it was fine for them to do that ! She then announced he had fixed it - just as I was leaving ! Really unreal and really rude responses . I am in conversation with booking .com I payed £45 for a room that was unfit to let . I wish I’d kept driving !
