AMOUR AT TURTLE BEACH

We had a wonderful stay at Amour at Turtle Beach! The host was incredibly welcoming, greeting us late in the evening and ensuring we had a delicious dinner. He also provided us with helpful information about the possibility of seeing turtles on the beach, which was such a special touch. The cottage itself was cozy and perfect for a relaxing stay. In the morning, the host made us the most amazing breakfast, which was the perfect start to the day. We truly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it!

Great location very near Turtle conservation area. Don the owner is great cooking delicious food and good advice about travel.He even phoned us to let us know when the turtles were on the beach.

Don is a great host! He welcomed us in a great way; he cooks great food and especially the breakfast is very special! The room is very nice, big and cozy. Don helped us with the turtle experience which was amazing !

You should definetly stay here and take minimum 2 nights! It is a lovely house with two rooms, one with a terrace and one with a beautiful balcony where we stayed. The room is very spacious and cosy. The breakfast was very tasty and served on the balcony which was really nice. Most importantly I can only confirm other reviews regarding the host Don- he is exceptional! We only stayed one night (wanted to stay longer but was fully booked) and he helped us with so many things regarding our trip! Talk to him and follow his advices!!! Definitely visit the bird sanctuary close by it’s really worth it. He then took us to our next place Haputale including a visit to a national park and waterfall- the transfer to pick me rates! And he does everything with a smile. Thanks Don, it was really a pleasure and we hope to be back 🙏

Wonderful cozy stay near Rekawa beach, mainly stayed a night to see the turtles. The host was amazing and really helpful, hospitable and responsive. He made me feel very welcomed and was very attentive. Lodging was also comfortable and clean. I highly recommend!

Wonderful family that was so helpful with organizing transportation onwards. I got to see a turtle laying eggs with the morning sunrise.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The location was perfect for turtle watching, just a short walk from the beach. Our daughter loved the front yard, and the outdoor shower was a great. The Sri Lankan breakfast was absolutely delicious—one of the best we’ve had! But what made our stay truly special was Ruchira, the host. He went above and beyond to organize our turtle-watching experience, as well as safaris in Udawalawe and Yala. His recommendations on things to do in the area were spot on! Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area. We’d love to come back!
