Sky Mountain Café with seaview

The location is central but tucked away so it is quiet. We enjoyed the ocean views and the sounds of nature. The owners are so lovely and they truly made our stay feel like we were staying with family. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. A bonus of the property is that a family of monkeys come by and you can feed them bananas :) I can't say enough nice things about this place!

Wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit Meerblick. Die Familie- inklusive Hund - hat uns mehr als herzlich willkommen geheißen. Die Lage ist phantastisch - der Blick atemberaubend!!! Wir durften jeden Tag die Affen füttern und haben uns einfach nur SEHR SEHR wohl gefühlt.

I really loved Chanu's place and it was one of the highlights during our trip in Sri Lanka. The rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable. My favorite place was definitely the view and seeing the family of friendly monkeys. The family owning the accommodation is very hospitable and make this place feel very special. It was a treat to spend the holiday there and to relax.

My sister and I had an amazing one-week stay at Sky Mountain Cafe and wish we could have stayed longer! The family running this hotel makes this place special. They're kind, lovely to chat with, and Champa makes delicious meals (best rice & curry we had so far!). The family of monkeys visiting you at breakfast is also a wonderful experience. For intermediate/advanced surfers, the location is prime, with a direct lookout on the wave just 5min away. The beds are large and comfy, and the hotel is near good local restaurants, cafés, and walking distance from stunning beaches. Will definitely return if we go back to Sri Lanka. Die Familie ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Bambus , der Guesthouse Hund ist zum knutschen 😍🐾. Der Besitzer erzählte, dass Bambus als Baby auf der Straße gefunden wurde und sie ihn dann adoptiert haben. Tagsüber kommen manchmal Affen ,die sehr freundlich sind. Am besten hat mir die große Hängematte gefallen von der aus man das Meer und die Surfer beobachten kann. Bei Bedarf wird man vom Besitzer auch mit dem Tuk Tuk zu seinem Ziel gefahren. Die Zimmer sind super sauber.

Der Generator der Klimaanlage ist leider direkt vorm Fenster und somit ist es auch nachts etwas laut im Zimmer

Super Lage, man hat einen tollen Ausblick auf den Strand und das Meer und ist in 2 Minuten zu Fuß dort. Die Besitzer sind total nett und hilfsbereit

Es gibt keine Klimaanlage und der Ventilator bringt nichts, da das Mosquitonetz zu dicht ist und die Luft nicht im Bett ankommt. Zum selben Preis gibt es in der Umgebung Unterkünfte mit AC

The location is so unique, it’s a short steep walk from the beach (great for surfers!) and then you up the hill overlooking the ocean. Plenty of monkeys swinging by and a lovely family hosting the home stay. Delicious dinner served most nights. It’s was such a fun place to stay,
