IDA'S Homestay

Ida's is close to Virgin Beach on a Bike and the Natural surroundings of the resort are quite stunning. It's becoming increasing difficult to find places like this in Bali where developments are coating the island in more and more concrete, obstructing the flow of Earth Energy. Not at Ida's. Earth Energy in full flow here and I love it.

The only suggestions that could make this trip any better is if the quality of the coffee was improved...stronger with some flavour, and the quality of the bread used for toast in the morning was improved...a move away from bleached, white sugar bread would complete the overall experience. Maybe an option to have avocado on toast for those that do not eat eggs.

This is a truly special place, calm, rustic, and incredibly peaceful. We stayed one night but could happily have stayed one month!

La vue extraordinaire sur le jardin de cocotiers avec labmer au fond. Incroyable beauté et tranquillité malgré la proximité de la route. Snorkeling possible. Ne pas oublier ses chaussures pour aller dans l'eau.

Proximité immédiate de la mer, côté authentique des meubles et équipements réalisés sur place avec des matériaux locaux. Gentillesse et disponibilité du personnel.

I love the rustic roofs but they do let in a little dirt.

Right slap bang on the water front - fabulous view! This place is a traditional Bali hut - very rustic, very basic so don't expect much ... What you do get is an outstanding Bali experience!

Maybe give more of a talk about the room and how to get the best out of it ... I didn't figure out how to open the louvred window till the last day!
