Braeside

Lovely warm welcome. Excellent Breakfast. Comfortable bed, great shower, quiet location. Good food at the local pub. We enjoyed our weekend, it was a lovely relaxed stay.

The bottom of the drive is a bit tricky to navigate. The bottom section could do with smoothing off and then finished with new gravel. I think this is a work in progress currently, so it will probably be sorted soon. Additionally, the walk-in shower could do with a grab rail and a less slippy floor, perhaps a rubber mat, maybe the answer 🤔

Location was ideal for travel in all directions. Sally, our hostess, was charming and very helpful with suggestions of what to see and directions. Our room was lovely with a large ensuite bathroom and beautiful extra large fluffy towels! Breakfast was excellent with fruit, yogurt and a large selection for cooked breakfast. Good pub in the village for drinks and food.

A lovely traditional house with great facilities and excellent breakfast in the lovely dining room. Sally was very friendly and helpful.

Braeside is home from home , beautifully furnished , warm & inviting , exceptionally comfortable & spotlessly clean . Sally couldn’t have been more welcoming & friendly . Her breakfasts are delicious . We absolutely loved our stay & will be returning very soon.

The location, room, facilities and breakfast were perfect for us. The host was very helpful and friendly. We had a great stay at Braeside and would highly recommend.
