Sailors' Bay

Had a great time staying at Sailor’s Bay! Loved our room with an amazing sea view. The staff was so nice and gave us many great tips about things to do in Hikkaduwa. Would really recommend!

They gave us the ocean view room. Which we loved! Would recommend the upgrade for sure. You have your own private balcony area, as the others you have to walk by. So it feels more private. Steps from the beach that has its own loungers. Room was a great size and a nice private balcony space. Lots of ocean breeze coming through and ac works great. Staff are so friendly and helpful when you need something. There is a kitchen you can use, which we did to chop up some fruit. It was at the other end of town, but we preferred the quietness of that. The beach was much quieter.

Maybe a little further to pop out for food, but tuktuks are easy to get and cheap.

A Perfect Stay at Sailor's Bay Sailor's Bay was everything I could have hoped for—a little paradise. The place was spotless, peaceful, and so well-organized. I loved how convenient everything was, from the perfectly placed plugs to the fridge and the air conditioning that made the stay super comfortable. It felt like everything was designed to make life easy and relaxing. If you’re looking for a clean, calm, and beautiful spot to unwind, Sailor’s Bay is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to go back!

I was warmly welcomed with a drink. The hotel owner, Dilan, was very helpful and explained everything in detail. The location is beautiful, right behind the Hotel is the Beach. And nearby there is a shop and restaurants where you can enjoy good food, such as A2. There is also the option to have breakfast at the hotel, including local dishes. The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. I would book it again and definitely recommend it to others.

Great little gem just out of town, booked the biggest king room which was beachfront and absolute gold with large balcony. Owners are great, beach is beautiful, short tuk tuk ride to town if you need it!

Perfect beach location, not in the crowded busiest beach, which we appreciated so much. The room was clean, the staff was super helpful and always available, hoppers for breakfast!, and tuktuk-distance from everywhere! Nothing else we could ask for.
