Garh Meera - A Sensational Boutique Hotel

Awesom city view from roof top, very friendly stuff.

DO THE SAFARI WITH CAMELS. Its not touristic. From my German point or view this hotel is a recommendation everyone that looks for standards.

You have to reach the reception through good number of stairs. So if you are reaching at odd hours, it may be Little inconvenient.

The hotel is in a really convenient location in the city and easy to reach, with the fort a pleasant walk away. Alternatively finding a tuk tuk on the road was pretty easy. It is a beautiful building and is well kept inside. My room was enormous and the bed very comfy. The staff and owner were very accommodating and friendly. The hotel also offers many optional extras such as camel safari and massages, making your stay in extremely convenient and easy. The rooftop is enormous and has a great view out to the fort of Jaisalmer. Would stay here again if I visited Jaisalmer again.

When I arrive the receptionist tried to charge me an alternative price for the camel safari I had booked to what had been agreed over email. I only got the agreed price by changing plans last minute. Whilst I think this was a genuine miscommunication it was not a great start to my stay. The food was fine, but I would offer fewer options could result in better quality food all round.

The rooftop was great. Their recommendations for a guide and a desert overnight safari were brilliant.

Beautifully decorated interior. Loved our room. We were offered a free of charge upgrade but kept our booked room, just loved it! The staff were very accommodating. Clean bathroom. Room smelled good. Had dinner and breakfast, food was tasty. Stunning view from roof restaurant. Location, about 10 to 15min short walk from Fort. Location was excellent for us. We did a desert safari with the hotel, was one of the best experiences we have had. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Jaisalmer.

It was a wonderful experience at Garh Meera ,ambience was super authentic and traditional . Owner Sahil was super helpful. Food at roof top cafe MUD ESCAPE was very delicious authentic Rajasthani Lal mass and other veg dises was super .Safari organised by the hotel was super , it was memorable experience. Thank you team Garh Meera for this unforgettable experience

This is a very recent hotel with a lot to improve. The building is beautiful and the hosts are very helpful, but inexperienced. Rooms have space and good air conditioning. The location is good. The rooftop has a good view.

Yet, the hygiene is very poor, both in rooms (especially bathrooms) and in the rooftop restaurant. The food is basic and prepared by inexperienced staff, and the tables on the rooftop are very dirty, as well as the dishes (some still have the purchase stickers that were never removed). The bathrooms constantly smell like sewage and in the night have cockroaches.
